Orofino (ID) All Star team coming for three game series at Malone Field
The Orofino Maniacs, a high school all star team, will be traveling to John Day to take on the Jackson Oilers in a 3 game series. Last year the Orofino High School team won the 3A State Championsip.
Last year the Oilers traveled to Orofino for a 3 game series and were defeated 2 games to 1. Orofino is a big baseball town and has a field very similar to Malone and has an equal amount of state noteriety. This will be the first time the schools have met in Oregon however, the series has become a tradition and each year the teams will alternate playing sites.
The First game of the series will start at 4:00pm Saturday June 12th and a double header will follow Sunday June 13th.
Admission is Free and should be a great baseball series.
