Aaron Mathews, Current professional baseball player for the Toronto Blue Jays, is pleased to offer a hitting camp for all skill levels and ages. Players ages 7 through 14 will be able to hone their skills with GU baseball coaches and players.
Aaron Mathews is a former Grant Union baseball player from the class of 2001. After graduating from GU he played baseball at Oregon State University. Completing 5 successful years with the nationally recognized Beaver baseball program, he was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays as an outfieder. Aaron is spending his 4th year with the Blue Jays organization and is expected to have another great season. The Grant Union baseball program is grateful that Aaron is willing to give back to the community as he works with Grant Counties future baseball players and prepares them for a great upcoming baseball season.
Learn the Prospector approach to hitting
At Grant Union Baseball Camps, Aaron Mathews and other Prospector coaches and players will teach the fundamentals of hitting to all who attend. The staff will teach the campers proper swing mechanics through drill progressions and deliver the proper mental approach to hitting to maximize success at the plate.
This camp is $40.
